Join me to learn how to create bold, joyful and beautiful lettering using brush pens in this modern, relaxed and informal style of calligraphy.
 
Modern calligraphy is creative and expressive way to create lettering - and using a brush tip even more so.
In this workshop you will learn the calligraphy rules - and how to break them - to create your own unique, fun style. It’s all about enjoying the process!
 
You will learn the essentials of modern calligraphy - how to position yourself, your paper and how to hold then pen, and then start with beginner brush strokes and mark making. You'll be practicing alphabets, upper and lowercase letter forms, and then eventually joining them into words and phrases.
 
A Black brush pen, lettering guides, upper and lowercase alphabet templates, and calligraphy templates are all included.
I also bring along a large selection of my coloured brush pens for you all to have a go at creating some joyful greeting cards at the end of each workshop - so there's lots to keep us going!
