Bring your friends, have a glass of fizz and join me for an evening of festive brush calligraphy learning how to create beautiful hand-lettered Christmas crackers. So Christmassy!
Modern calligraphy is creative and expressive way to letter - and using a brush tip even more so. In this workshops you will learn the calligraphy rules - and how to break them - to create your own unique, fun style. It’s all about enjoying the process!
In this 2.5 hour evening we will learn the essentials of modern calligraphy - starting with beginner brush strokes and mark making.
You'll be practicing upper and lowercase letterforms, and then going on to hand-lettering your chosen cracker names and creating your own beautifully hand lettered pieces you'll be proud of this Christmas.
A specialist brush pen and all materials are included used in the workshop so you can keep practicing and creating at home - and as well as guiding the whole class with demonstrations and instructions, I will be there to provide you with one-on-one tuition and troubleshooting any issues you may come across.
You will finish the workshop filling, assembling and adding luxury satin ribbon to your crackers, and come away with a new skill and table decoration you can be proud of.This workshop makes for the ideal opportunity to get together with friends over the festive season, and all materials are included - so you can go on creating and gifting all year round….!

We have time in the workshop to make a pair of crackers, but extras are available for you to take home for an additional charge if requested in advance.
