Calligraphy vintage plate workshop @ Carry On Crafting Festival!
 
Upcycle something old, forgotten and pretty, into something new, unique, fun and beautiful for your home.

We’ll be adding some hand-lettered love to beautiful vintage side plates - and creating something really special in the process!
 
Using specialist ceramic pens, you will learn the techniques of calligraphy and hand-lettering to create your own upcycled statement plate to hang proudly on your wall.
​
Take inspiration from the calligraphy templates provided, or letter your own set of words for an even more personalised keepsake.
 
Alphabet inspiration practice sheets, lettering templates and full calligraphy instructions are all included, along with a vintage china side plate for you to decorate and take home.
 
I'll be there guiding you throughout the workshop with step-by-step demonstrations so you're really proud of what you create - and the skills you learn with me will not only teach you beginners calligraphy suitable for tricky surfaces like ceramics and chalkboards, but also enable you to go on and decorate your own cards, gift tags and stationery whenever the mood takes you.

I promise - once you’ve created your own design there'll be no keeping you out of the vintage emporiums looking for more plates to play with!
