I'm excited to bring you this new joyful Christmas calligraphy workshop!
Not only will be learning calligraphy but we'll be decorating it too - adding a real playfulness to our hand-lettering for Christmas.

Bring your friends, and join me for an afternoon of festive brush calligraphy learning how to create these joyful hand-lettered Christmas cards and gift tags.
Modern calligraphy is creative and expressive way to letter - and using a brush tip even more so. In this workshops you will learn the calligraphy rules - and how to break them - to create your own unique, fun style. It’s all about enjoying the process!
We will learn the essentials of modern calligraphy - starting with beginner brush strokes and mark making.
You'll be practicing upper and lowercase letterforms, practising some festive words and then going on to create your own beautifully hand lettered pieces you'll be proud of this christmas.
A specialist brush pen and all materials are included used in the workshop are yours so you can keep practicing and creating at home - and as well as guiding the whole class with demonstrations and instructions, I will be there to provide you with one-on-one tuition and troubleshooting any issues you may come across.
This workshop makes for the ideal opportunity to get together with friends over the festive season, and all materials are included - so you can go on creating and gifting all year round….!

I will also have a selection of black and white ink pens to adorn your cards with and make your designs really pop!
The workshop will be held at my lovely light filled workshop HQ at Highfield Park, St Albans
The room is fully accessible, on the ground floor, and has plenty of free parking outside.
